Arclent (OPC) Private Limited ("Arclent", "we", "our", "us") operates arclent.co — a verified talent marketplace for the creator economy. We connect creator economy talent (video editors, thumbnail artists, scriptwriters, community managers) with recruiters globally.
This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. By using Arclent, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect information you provide directly (account registration, profile creation, job applications), information generated through your use of the platform (proposals sent, jobs posted, messages), and — for talent who connect a social or content platform — information from OAuth services (described fully in Section 04).
We also collect standard technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and page interaction data, used for security and to improve the platform.
We use your information to: operate and improve the platform, verify talent credentials and assign verification badges, match talent with relevant job opportunities, process payments, send transactional and account-related emails, and comply with applicable law.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not use your data to train AI or machine-learning models.
Talent on Arclent can connect one or more content platforms to verify their work history and earn verification badges. We use OAuth 2.0 to request read-only access — we never ask for permission to post, message, or take any action on your behalf.
Select a platform below to see exactly what data we request and why:
How this data is used
Platform data accessed via OAuth is used exclusively to: (1) verify your identity and account ownership, (2) assign verification badges (Bronze through Red Diamond tiers), and (3) display your public verification status to recruiters on the platform.
Sharing of OAuth platform data
Platform data obtained via OAuth is not sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. It is processed by two infrastructure providers strictly to operate the platform:
No other third party accesses your platform data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics platforms.
Storage & security
OAuth tokens and platform data are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorised Arclent personnel on a strict need-to-know basis. We do not store OAuth refresh tokens beyond what is necessary to maintain your verified status.
Retention & deletion
We retain platform data only as long as your account is active and your verification status needs to be maintained. If you disconnect a platform account or delete your Arclent account, all associated platform data is permanently deleted within 30 days. You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing privacy@arclent.co.
Arclent's use of data received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations.
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to ensure the platform functions correctly. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to: access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, restrict or object to certain processing, and receive your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@arclent.co. We will respond within 30 days.
Arclent is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us at privacy@arclent.co and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a prominent notice on the platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Arclent after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
